Defender Joseph Ochaya has arrived in Ghana to begin his career with local giants Asante Kotoko.

The 19-year-old watched the Ghanaian League champions beat New Edubiase 2-0 at the Accra Sports stadium to lift the Super Cup on Sunday.

The former Kampala City Council natural left footer is thrilled with the feat chalked by his new club and looks ahead to play an important role in their Premier League title defence this term

“I feel great to have finally touched base here to start my career with Kotoko,” Ochaya told Kumasi-based Fox FM

“I am happy that my club took the cup and it tells you that we’re ready for the challenge ahead.

“They played good football and deserved to win. I’m here to play football and ensure I contribute my quota to the success of the club.
