Julio Cesar: Militao is a centre-back for the next 10 years for Real Madrid

Eder Militao's Real Madrid career has turned on its head in the past week as he now looks set to lead the defence against Getafe after an impressive display against Liverpool in midweek.

Among his admirers is compatriot Julio Cesar, who played for Los Blancos between 1999 and 2002.

"I'm not surprised by Militao's good performances, it took him a while because playing at Real Madrid is a bit complicated, but he's a player for the next 10 years," Cesar told Radio MARCA.

The former Real Sociedad and Olympiacos defender also spoke about some of his other fellow Brazilians, including young duo Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes.

"I like how they're evolving, both have arrived young but, especially Vinicius, have grown a lot," Cesar explained.

"Casemiro is catalogued as a great, what's best of all is that he supports other players."

Cesar won the Champions League with Real Madrid in 2000, playing alongside the likes of Fernando Hierro and Ivan Helguera.
