Juventus and Barcelona have agreed a swap deal that will see Matheus Pereira and Alejando Marques go in opposite directions.

The two giants had reportedly been in talks over a Federico Bernardeschi-Ivan Rakitic swap, however talks broke down.

Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio says that both clubs have agreed to a swap involving younger players.

Juve’s Matheus Pereira is in Barcelona undergoing his medical with the Catalan outfit.

Meanwhile, Marques has landed in Turin and will undergo his own medical in the coming hours.

Pereira joined the Bianconeri in January 2017 and made three appearances for the first team, with his last coming in a 2-0 defeat against Sampdoria on the final day of last season.

Marques meanwhile has made 22 appearances for Barca B this season, and scored once.
