Juventus and Roma are on alert after target Romelu Lukaku admitted that he may be willing to move on from current club Everton.
The Bianconeri have long been admirers of the Belgian forward who turned them down in 2014 in favour of the Toffees but things may come full circle this summer as the 22-year-old is craving Europe’s premier competition.
“I’d like to play in the Champions League next season,” Lukaku told Belgium-based French publication Dernieur Heure.
Despite a fine individual campaign in which he has netted 18 times, Everton have struggled for consistency and currently lie 12th in the Premier League table but the Belgium international wants to see out the season with a positive run of form.
“I know that I can become the league’s top scorer but my main focus is on helping the team finish strong,” he said.
