The 27-year-old midfielder has been a target for the Bianconeri for some time, although it now seems that Massimiliano Allegri has successfully influenced the player, who could move during the forthcoming transfer window.
This latest development has been confirmed by The Daily Star, who have reported that the current Italian champions are willing to pay €25 million for the player, who is almost certain to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
Having re-joined Chelsea from Benfica in 2014, the Serbia international has since made 83 Premier League appearances for the London outfit, scoring just two domestic goals in the process.
It has been reported that new Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte, is willing to let Matic leave the club, as he aims to bring in an influx of new talent ahead of next season.
