Juventus coach annoyed despite Frosinone win

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has asked for his team to calm down a bit and be smarter when playing despite winning 2-0 against Frosinone.

Juan Cuadrado and Paulo Dybala got the goals for the Bianconeri in the second half as they only just scraped past a tough Frosinone side, and Allegri says his team need to work on their understanding of each other.

“We had two opportunities at the beginning and then we ran into some difficulty,” Allegri told Premium Sport after the match.

“We were too hasty we had to be more coherent and knowledgeable against a Frosinone team who defended well.”

The next Serie A game for the Bianconeri is a top-of-the-table clash with Napoli next weekend, and there are currently just two points between the two sides, however Allegri doesn’t believe the game will be a big turning point in the season.

“We now have a week to prepare for the match against Napoli, but there is still a long way to go even after that game,” Allegri added.

“It will be a great match, but it will not be decisive.”

Napoli won 1-0 at home to Carpi on Sunday meaning they sit on top of the Serie A table, while Juventus are eight points clear in second as the title race turns into a two horse race.
