Juventus coach considering Premier League move

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is at the top of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich’s wishlist to take over Guus Hiddink as the Blues’ coach at the end of the season.

The Dutchman replaced Josè Mourinho in December to turn around the season, but his spell is likely to be ending on June as he signed a six-month contract.

According to The Sun, the Premier League outfit have contacted the Old Lady’s boss at the start of this month to check his availability to become the Chelsea manager starting from June.

Reports say the 48-year-old confirmed he is keen on a move to Stamford Bridge, despite his contract with Juventus expiring in 2017, with Abramovich ready to more than double his current salary, offering £6 million per year.

The Italian has become the Blues’ first target after they dismissed the idea of signing Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone for having a similar personality to sacked Mourinho.

Allegri has won two Serie A titles throughout his career with AC Milan and Juventus; the Bianconeri are currently second in Serie A, just two points behind leaders Napoli.
