Juventus coach not thinking about Bayern Munich

Published on: 10 March 2016

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is solely focused on domestic competitions as of this moment and believes his side should not worry about Bayern Munich and the Champions League.

Spirits are high in the Bianconeri camp as they currently stand within the chance of lifting both the Coppa Italia and the Scudetto, the latter of which they can edge closer to with a win over Sassuolo on Friday evening.

“Juventus should not become obsessed with the Champions League,” Allegri stressed in his pre-match press conference.

“All it needs to be is a feasible dream in the back of our minds.

“At the time being were are in the Coppa Italia final and we cannot do more than that.

“Winning two trophies would be more than enough for me.

Turning his intentions to the match in hand, Allegri then warned of the importance of the game against the Neroverdi.

“Tomorrow will be an important game for us,” he continued. “We have to win.

“Sassuolo are just in reach of the Europa League zone and they are a side that are fully capable of beating some of the best.”
