Juventus coach open to Chelsea switch

Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly open to the idea of swapping Turin for London this summer, with Chelsea set to approach the Juventus coach with an offer to become the permanent successor of Guus Hiddink.

Following a summer of turnover at the Juventus Stadium, the Bianconeri struggled to find their feet at the beginning of the season, however, Allegri has since guided the Old Lady to twelve successive Serie A victories, with the reigning Scudetto holders unbeaten since falling to defeat at Sassuolo on October 28.

Reports in The Sun suggest that the tactician would be willing to depart Serie A in favour of a move to Stamford Bridge, with the Blues suffering a dreadful defence of their crown as Premier League champions.

In his debut season at the club, Allegri guided Juventus to success in Serie A and the Coppa Italia, as well as leading the club to June’s Champions League final in Berlin, where they were defeated 3-1 by Barcelona.
