JUVENTUS, Douglas COSTA: "There are times I ask myself whether to keep playing or not"

Interviewed by The Players' Tribune, Juventus and Brazilian NT winger Douglas Costa (29) stated: "There are times I ask myself whether it's right for me to keep on playing or not. It happens when I get on the pitch, and I end up getting injured. Then I watch football on TV, I remember how passionate am I about that, and I remind myself I can still play top-tier. Sometimes I joke about having collected more scans than caps, together with my teammate Alex Sandro. People say I'd have the potential to be one of the best worldwide, if it weren't for the recurring injuries. That bothers me". Former Bayern Munich man is playing for BIanconeri since 2017/18, and has been linked to a Premier League move more than once.
