Juventus duo set to pen new deals

Published on: 23 January 2016

Juventus veterans Patrice Evra and Andrea Barzagli are both currently out of contract in the summer, but are likely to sign new deals in the coming weeks.

Although there has been interest in both players from other clubs, the Bianconeri are confident that both will be happy to extend their spells in Turin.

Tuttosport report that although Evra and Barzagli could both begin to negotiate free transfer deals away from Juventus at the end of January, the club look set to meet with representatives of both players in the next few days in order to ensure that both sign contracts to stay.

The 34-year-old Evra has been with the Bianconeri for just two seasons, winning Serie A on both occasions.

Meanwhile, Barzagli, who has endured some time out of the side with injury recently, is in his sixth campaign with Juventus.
