Juventus eye Manchester United midfielder

Juventus are reportedly targeting Manchester United’s Ander Herrera as they look to strengthen their midfield.

It was known that Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta and coach Massimiliano Allegri personally flew to England to catch the Spaniard in action, demonstrating their strong interest in him.

According to the Metro, the reigning Scudetto holders have held talks with the Red Devils and it is believed the 26-year-old could be available for a fee around the region of £22-25 million. Herrera isn’t the only notable midfielder to have been linked with the Bianconeri in recent times with Chelsea play-maker Oscar and Borussia Dortmund’s Ilkay Gundogan being the Turin outfit’s long-term targets.

Herrera has featured a total of 38 times for the Premier League outfit while netting three goals in the process after securing a move from Athletic Bilbao in 2014.
