Juventus look to shift trio before window shuts

Juventus are still looking to offload three players before the transfer window shuts, with Marko Pjaca and Mattia Perin set for permanent departures, whilst Luca Pellegrini looks set to head out on loan.

Sporting director Fabio Paratici is reportedly looking to try and balance the books slightly after a summer of significant outlay and has identified the three players as surplus to requirements.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Pellegrini, who arrived as part of a deal that took Leonardo Spinazzola to Roma, is set to rejoin Cagliari on loan where he spent the second half of last season, whilst they are determined to offload Pjaca and Perin as well.

Pjaca spent last season on loan at Fiorentina but had an underwhelming time in Florence playing 19 Serie A games, scoring one and assisting one.

The Croatian signed for Juve from Dinamo Zagreb in 2016 and has since spent loan spells at Schalke 04 and, more recently, at La Viola.

Perin, on the other hand, signed from Genoa just last season but his first-team appearances were restricted by Wojciech Szczesny, and now with the return of club legend Gianluigi Buffon he has dropped further down the pecking order.
