According to UK news, highlighted by Daily Express and The Sun, Juventus top brass have just rejected a cash offer, coming from Southampton, for Italian international central midfielder Stefano Sturaro (23).

Not a regular starter for Bianconeri yet, but already capable of showing himself as a clutch player (especially in Champions League games), former Genoa man, a member of Serie A giants since February 2015, has become a main target for English club.

Willing to side him to Jordy Clasie, Saints submitted Juventus a €19.7/£15m cash offer, which was immediately declined.

The Old Lady management are relying on Sturaro for their future plans, but a proposal starting from €26/£20m might get talks started.
