Juventus rejected Tottenham's bid for Weston McKennie

The USMNT star has a £25 million price tag and the Serie A side rejected Spurs' first bid during the January transfer window.

Juventus is willing to let go of Weston McKennie but only for the right price. The United States men’s national team player has been linked to a move to Tottenham for the past weeks. Spurs manager, Antonio Conte wants an aggressive midfielder for the second part of the campaign.

Juventus rejects initial offer

The Premier League side made an initial bid to sign the USMNT player because they wanted to include Tanguy Ndombele in the deal. The Serie A side will not let go of Weston McKennie for less than £25 million so Spurs need to make a better offer if they want to sign him during the January transfer window.

Juventus coach is not too happy bout letting Weston McKennie leave, but he understands that the sale would bring money in to improve the roster for the near future. The 23-year-old has made 20 appearances across all competitions so far this season with the Serie A side and scored two goals.

The USMNT midfielder has started 12 league games, has been substituted three times and left on the bench twice this campaign. McKennie has shown a lot of improvement since joining Juventus last season.
