Juventus target Monaco’s Portuguese duo

Juventus have turned their attention to Portuguese pair Bernardo Silva and Joao Moutinho but could wait until the summer transfer window before making a bid for either player.

Silva is a 21-year-old midfielder currently plying his trade in Ligue 1 with Monaco since August 2014 while teammate Moutinho is more experienced at 29-years-old and joined the southern French club in 2013 from Porto.

According to Tuttosport, club officials met at the Juventus Stadium in Turin to discuss a possible deal which could involve Italy striker Simone Zaza moving in the opposite direction, although the Bianconeri hierarchy are keen to hold on to the former Sassuolo forward for now.

Monaco currently trail runaway leaders Paris Saint-Germain by 21 points with 15 games remaining, with Moutinho making 16 league appearances and scoring once so far this season while Silva has made just 12 appearances but has notched four goals.
