Juventus are lining up a move to land Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Thiago Silva to Serie A again on a free transfer, according to reports in Italy.
CEO Giuseppe Marotta told Rai: "'Thiago Silva is an exceptional player and I don't know what PSG's intentions are for the future".
"It could be an opportunity like we had in the past to go for Pirlo. A player considered by many to be 'finished', but proved to be a great deal on a free transfer for us."
The 32-year-old defender's contract at Parc des Princes is due to expire at the end of the season.
