Juve's offer Pjanic as part of exchange deal for Verratti rejected (Tuttosport)

Juventus tried to offer Miralem Pjanic as part of an exchange deal for Marco Verratti, claim Tuttosport, but Paris Saint-Germain immediately shot it down.

According to the Turin-based newspaper, it was always a long shot, but the Bianconeri still attempted to begin negotiations for the transfer of midfielders.

Pjanic has struggled to adapt in Maurizio Sarri’s style of football, so it was hoped Verratti would better fit the bill with his mixture of quality and physical aggression.

However, although PSG are interested in the Bosnia international, they have no intention of letting Verratti leave.

The 27-year-old Italian has never played in Serie A, as he secured a €12m move to PSG in 2012 when Pescara were still in Serie B.
