Medeama SC attacker Kabiru Moro claims he has rang hospitalised Hearts of Oak midfielder Emmanuel Hayford to wish him a speedy recovery.

The attacker is downhearted after learning of the bad state of the Hearts midfielder and has called him personally to wish him a speedy recovery.

"I've called him [Emmanuel Hayford] to express my apology because the tackle wasn't intentional," he told Accra-based Oman FM.

Moro has come under fierce criticism on social media following his rugby-tackle on Hayford in the 40th minute during their 2-1 win over Hearts of Oak at the T&A Park in Tarkwa.

The striker could face further sanction from the Ghana FA for his tackle.
