Kamaldeen Sulemana can use us as a springboard - Ajax coach Erik ten Hag

Ajax Amsterdam boss Erik ten Hag hopes that Ghana prodigy Kamaldeen Sulemana will choose to switch to the Dutch club in the summer.

It is no longer a secret that Ajax are courting the FC Nordsjaelland star.

The teenager has long been linked with the Dutch giants, and Ajax director Marc Overmars was at the stadium to watch the winger when the Farum club played 2-2 with FC Copenhagen last week.

There are other clubs that have shown interest in the Ghanaian youngster, and Ajax coach hopes that the highly-rated player will choose to come to the Johan Cruijff Arena.

English giants Manchester United, Olympique Lyon and Bayer Leverkusen have all been linked.

"Of course we know a lot about him. It depends on the market what we can do; whether we can get him ahead of the others," he told ESPN.

"But it is obvious that he is a really good player. We hope he can see Ajax as a springboard."

Sulemana has been outstanding for Nordsjaelland in the Danish Superliga this season where he has 10 goals and has notched six assists in the process.

The 19-year-old Sulemana can be bought for 13 million euros.
