Karela United coach Prosper Nartey has left the club after just two months to pile more misery on the Premier League side.

Nartey replaced Johnson Smith but has quit after the club grabbed its feet in granting him a contract.

The University of Cape Coast lecturer has packed out of Aiyinase amid misunderstanding with the club's top hierarchy.

He previously handled Ghana Premier League side Ebusua Dwarfs three years ago.

United have struggled to keep their players since the demise of club owner David Brigidi.

As many as eight senior team players have left the club with giants Asante Kotoko sweeping as many as four players including Ismail Abdul Ganiu, Maxwell Baakoh, Empem Dacosta and Patrick Yeboah with Imoro Ibrahim and Isaac Kwain believed to be on their way to Kumasi.
