Karela United striker Diawisie Taylor downplayed his two-goal haul for the side in their 3-0 win over Legon Cities, saying the team deserved credit for the victory.

The hugely talented striker grabbed a brace, scoring a goal in each half as the home side run riot over the Accra-based side at the Akoon park on Friday.

Samuel Ofori, who joined the side on loan on transfer deadline from Medeama, scored in-between the two goals from Taylor.

And the striker has hailed the team's effort.

"The secret is hard training and listening to advice from the coach. The coach and management have been motivating us and we're happy with our performance today," he said

"This is a collective team effort and all the players deserve the plaudits.

Karela United have jumped from 15th on the table to 8th.
