Asante Kotoko will not be able to sign Karela United midfielder Emmanuel Keyekeh in the ongoing Ghana Premier League transfer window, according to reports.
The Ghanaian giants have been linked with a move for Kayeke, who is enjoying a great season with the Ayinase-based club. The midfielder is thought to also be interested in playing for Kotoko.
However, Karela United have reportedly told Kotoko they are open to selling the player at the end of the season, not this window.
Kotoko want to take advantage of the transfer window to augment their squad to boost their chances of finishing the season with the league trophy.
The Porcupine Warriors have been inconsistent thus far this season. They are fourth in the league while they exited the MTN FA Cup at the round of 64 stage.
