Kayserispor star Bernard Mensah 'missing football already' after Turkish Super League break

Ghana midfielder Bernard Mensah has revealed he is 'missing football already' after the Turkish Super League halted following pressure from players amidst the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Kayserispor star was one of the few players that protested against playing football in Turkey despite the rapid spread of the deadly virus.

Games in Turkey were played behind closed doors before pressure from players and other international bodies forced the break in the Super League.

"Missing you already," he posted on Twitter with a picture of his last game for Kayserispor against Yeni Malatyaspor.

The former Atletico Madrid player has been on form for the Red and Golds this season and provided a brace of assists in Kayserispor's 2-1 against Malatyaspor.

Mensah has made 20 Super Ligg appearances this season, scoring three times and creating eight goals.

The 25-year old has been on the radar of Turkish giants Galatasaray for some time now and reports indicate he could join them in the summer transfer window.
