The 2022/2023 UEFA Champions League round of 16 draw has been released and the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham have known their fates.
The 2022/2023 UEFA Champions League Round of 16 draw has been cast and Chelsea will face Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan will face Tottenham and others.
The knockout stage draw was successfully done in Nyon, Switzerland on Monday 7, November 2022 at 12:00 and below are how the eight teams qualified for the draws, the third-place teams that got relegated to the Europa League round of 32, and the full list of the Champions League round of 16 draw.
Napoli finished as the winners of Group A with 15 points, having won five and lost one in the six group stage games. Liverpool finished 2nd with 15 points as well following five wins on a bounce.
In Group B, Porto finished as the group winners with 12 points after four wins and two losses. Club Brugge finished as the runners-up with one point behind the Portuguese giants after three wins, two draws and one defeat.
Bayern Munich won all six group stage matches to finish as the winners of Group C, eight points ahead of runners-up Inter Milan, who managed three wins, one draw and two defeats.
Tottenham finished as the winners of Group D on the last group stage matchday following a late 2-1 win at Marseille. Spurs won three, drew two and lost one. Eintracht Frankfurt came out as the runners-up with 10 points, one point behind Spurs, following three wins, one draw and two defeats.
In Group E, Chelsea emerged as the winners with 13 points following four wins, one draw and one defeat while AC Milan finished in the 2nd place with 10 points, having managed three wins, one draw and one loss.
Real Madrid and RB Leipzig finished 1st and 2nd respectively in Group F, after the former four matches, drew one and lost one and the latter recorded four wins, two defeats, and zero draw.
In Group G, Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund finished at the top spots. City finished as the winners with 14 points after four wins and two draws while Dortmund managed 9 points following two wins and three draws.
Benfica stunned the favourites when they finished as the winners of Group H on the last day of the group stage following a resounding 6-1 win at Maccabi Haifa. They finished at the summit with 14 points while PSG finished as runners-up, though with the same points as Benfica.

While the official dates for the fixtures haven’t been assigned yet, as normal, the first leg of the round of 16 fixtures are due around 14/15/21/22 February and the return fixtures are due around 7/8/14/15 March 2023, according to the official Champions League’s website.
