Premier league side Brighton and Hove Albion have rejected a £60M bid from Arsenal for Ecuadorian midfielder Moises Caicedo.

, Arsenal has made an attempt to sign Ecuadorian international Moises Caicedo from Brighton & Hove Albion. The 21-year-old midfielder has also been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea this month, but the Blues have seen two bids for him rejected by the Seagulls, who have made it clear that the player is not for sale.
The Gunners are looking to bolster their midfield options as they push for the title, with the team currently lacking depth in that area. While Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey have been in top form this season, Albert Sambi Lokonga has underperformed and Mohamed Elneny is set to be out for an extended period after suffering a knee injury in training.
The Seagulls rejected the bid from the Gunners as they consider their midfield asset untouchable for the rest of the season.
As a result, Arsenal has identified West Ham’s Declan Rice as a top target for the summer transfer window, with the 24-year-old expected to leave the Hammers at the end of the season. He said, “I am focused on Brighton. I am here, I’m playing every day. Things from outside don’t trouble me, nor does it take that focus away, because I’m focused only on here.”
