Kevin Boateng fails to recover for Parma clash

Midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng was left out of AC Milan's squad that made the trip to Parma for Saturday's Serie A clash.

The 24-year-old has been out of action since scoring for AC Milan in their 4-0 drubbing of Arsenal in the Uefa Champions League round of 16 first leg tie.

Boateng was expected to be available for selection for Massimilano Allegri's side at the Stadio Tardini.

But after Friday's final training session, the former Portsmouth midfielder was left out of the 21-man squad for the trip.

His former international team-mate Sulley Muntari Ali was named in the squad.
