Schalke 04 are without Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng for their trip to Bayer Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga on Saturday.Â
Boateng, 27, is battling with a knee problem and was replaced in the first-half of their Uefa Champions League win over Portuguese side Sporting CP and has been completely ruled out of action by manager Roberto Di Matteo.
"With him (Boateng), it doesn't seem good and can't play in the game," he told reporters.
Boateng has been struggling with injuries since the start of the season and has completed just three league games for Schalke since the start of the season.
