New AC Milan signing Kevin-Prince Boateng has vowed to fight for a starting place in the Rossoneri set-up and make his loan move permanent.

Milan secured a season’s loan deal for the hard working midfielder from Genoa after joining from English side Portsmouth.

Ghana's World Cup star marked his Serie A debut a fortnight ago with an assist as Milan romped to a 4-0 win over Lecce.

"I am very happy to be here and I will work very hard for more playing time and see," the 23-year-old said.
