Kevin-Prince Boateng discloses how Silvio Berlusconi convinced him to rejoin AC Milan

Kevin-Prince Boateng has revealed how former AC Milan chief Silvio Berlusconi convinced him to rejoin the club.

Boateng joined the Rossoneri for a second spell in 2016 after his ill-fated time at German side Schalke 04.

In the Ghanaian's first spell at the San Siro, he scored 10 goals in 74 league appearances, winning the 2010-11 Scudetto.

The 32-year-old says he was convinced to return by long-time club president and former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.

"Berlusconi convinced me at the exact moment he called my number," Boateng said.

"The day after me and my agent went to him to Arcore, he asked me: 'My son, why don't you come back?'; I replied: "Right away" . He didn't give a damn about the holidays."

Boateng is currently on loan at Turkish giants Besiktas from Fiorentina.
