Kevin Prince Boateng is right now feeling like 50cent if you ask me. Maybe even better Mayweather.

Barcelona have gone rushing for  the son of a Ghanaian father and German mother.

The Ghanaian has struggled to settle since leaving Schalke in 2015, and has spent the last four seasons hopping between clubs in Serie A, the Bundesliga and La Liga.

Barca confirmed the deal had gone through on Monday and includes an option for them to sign the Ghanaian at the end of the loan contract, for a fee believed to be €8million.

Boateng has struggled to settle since leaving Schalke in 2015, and has spent the last four seasons hopping between clubs in Serie A, the Bundesliga and La Liga.

He joined Sassuolo from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2018 but made just 13 league appearances – and has now chosen to trade Serie A for what is likely to be a back-up role to Luis Suarez at the Nou Camp.

Barcelona have justified his signing by saying he has quick adaptation and is familiar with the football in spain.

Kevin Prince Boateng comes in with a big history considering his long struggle to deal with racism that has always been part of football in most leagues.
