Ghana midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng stepped up his return to AC Milan after playing in their 3-0 victory over Monza in a friendly game.

The 28-year-old Ghana international played 44 minutes as Milan beat Monza 3-0.

Milan sealed the victory with goals from Luiz Adriano, Antonio Nocerino and Alessio Cerci.

Boateng came on in the second half to replace Antonio Nocerino and almost grabbed a goal but his back wheeled effort was cleared on the goal line.

The former Schalker 04 midfielder has been training with Milan and will decide his future in January.
