Kevin Prince-Boateng ready to accept pay cut to stay at Besiktas- Agent

Agent for Ghana star Kevin-Prince Boateng says his client is ready to take a pay cut in order to stay with Beskitas when his contract expires in the summer.

The 33-year-old joined the Turkish giants in the January transfer window from Serie A side Fiorentina and has made an instant impact at the club.

Boateng who is currently in Italy with his family due to the break as a result of the coronavirus pandemic is hoping to extend his stay at the club according to his manager Utku Cenikli.

"Kevin is very happy to be wearing in Beşiktaş. His contract will automatically increase if he wears the jersey in the first 11 in 10 games.

“According to the contract, his contract will be 350 thousand euros in the half-term period. If his contract continues, his salary will increase to 1.7 million euros”.

“However, he does not have a superstar caprice. The economic situation of the clubs is obvious due to the coronavirus effect.
