There was a strong Ghanaian presence at the San Siro on Sunday night as Ghana star Kevin-Prince Boateng travelled from Germany to watch his former side AC Milan suffer a 2-0 defeat to champions Juventus.

Boateng headed to Milan on Sunday morning after playing in Schalke 04's 5-1 demolishing by Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.

But he witnessed another defeat for his former side (AC Milan) as the Rossoneris suffered a 2-0 loss to Juventus in a highly incensed game.

Juventus had Kwadwo Asamoah back from injury after passing a late fitness test but Milan dropped Sulley Muntari from the entire squad for the game while Michael Essien watched the entire game from the bench.

Spain striker Fernando Llorente scored first for Juve with a minute left before the break and Carlos Tevez wrapped up the win in the 68th minute.

Boateng is seen as a big figure at the San Siro after leaving a mark at the club during his two-and-half season spell.
