Kevin-Prince Boateng set for 14-day quarantine when he returns to Beşiktaş after covid-19 lockdown

Ghana forward Kevin-Prince Boateng is set another 14-day quarantine when he returns to Turkish side BeÅŸiktaÅŸ.

The Black Eagles are getting ready to recall their players who travelled abroad after the league was suspended amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Players such as Prince Boateng, Adem Ljajic, Jeremain Lens, Vitor Ruiz and Georges-Kévin N'Koudou, who travelled to their various countries after the enforced break, will remain in quarantine for two weeks upon their arrivals in Istanbul, Turkey.

According to reports, head of the side Emre KocadaÄŸ sent a 'be ready' messages to all the players who travelled outside the country after the league was halted.

Turkey plans to resume its soccer Super League matches in mid-June and the games may be played without spectators.

Turkish soccer, basketball and volleyball leagues, which were among the last to continue playing matches, were suspended on March 17 due to the COVID-19 pandemic after Ankara came under international and domestic pressure to postpone them.

Turkey has confirmed more than 100,000 cases of the new coronavirus, with a death toll of 2,600.
