Ex-Ghana forward Kevin-Prince Boateng is set to end his contract with Euro 2020 broadcasters ARD after completing a move to Hertha Berlin.

Boateng has been working as a pundit for ADR since the beginning of the European Championship.

The former AC Milan, FC Barcelona and Fiorentina ace returned to boyhood in Berlin in a sensational transfer last week.

Boateng will begin pre-season training with the side this week.

Following successful talks with ARD, officials of the Bundesliga club have managed to get the broadcaster to cancel the 34-year-old's contract to ensure he joins the team for pre-season training.

"We can confirm that Prince is available for us to start training. Many thanks to those responsible for ARD for their flexibility," Hertha Berlin manager Fredi Bobic has said.

The contract with ARD was expected to run till 11 July 2021.

Boateng will now do his final broadcast on Tuesday before reporting to Hertha's camp on Wednesday.
