King Faisal forward Osman Ibrahim has revealed that he nearly hanged up his boots after his failed trials with Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko and a long injury lay off.

Ibrahim in an interview disclosed he nearly gave up football to become a fashion designer after he failed trails with Asante Kotoko and also an injury we saw him on the sidelines for a year.

“I was with Kotoko during Didi Dramani’s time and I trained with the club for two years and but they didn’t sign me. I later got injured and sat home for a year”

“I decided to quit football to concentrate on trade because things were very difficult for me financially so I had to join a Junior High School friend of mine who was a fashion designer to work for a year”, he told Ghanapremierleagueupdate.

Despite failing to pick a point in the Ghana Premier League this season after match day 15, Osman believes King Faisal can survive relegation

“Win is all we need and I know we will get that to remain in the league".

Osman is having a good season with King Faisal and has scored eight goals in 14 matches.
