King Faisal owner Alhaji Karim Gruzah says he’s unsure about the future of assistant trainer Mallam Yahaya.

The future of the ex-Ghana international has come under the microscope after he openly criticized the qualities of newly appointed coach Robert Carlos Pauletta.

Yahaya ridiculed the coach by describing him as someone who lacks the requisite skills to manage the Kumasi-based side.

There are growing reports in the Ghanaian media that the comment from Yahaya has landed him into serious trouble with the club owner for bringing the image of the club and their head coach into disrepute.

Alhaji Gruzah says he is unsure about the long-term future of the 43-year-old.

"We have not talked about him (Mallam Yahaya) yet but in due course we’ll decide what to do," Gruzah said

"I have not really heard what he’s purported to have said but we’ll listen to it and then take a decision.

"We don’t want to be in a rush to crucify anybody. We’ll take the right decision in the supreme interest of the club.

There are many who feel Yahaya is aggrieved after being relegated to an assistant role having guided the team to escape relegation.
