Ghana Premier League side King Faisal secured their reputation in the MTN FA Cup after easing through to the last 16 of the competition with a 2-0 thrashing of Rospak FC at the Gyandu Park on Wednesday.

The third-tier side could not contain the Kumasi-based side as they succumbed to a 2-0 loss with Suraj Ibrahim and Ransford Kwakye scoring in either halves.

Suraj shot Faisal ahead with a 28th minute finish after maintaining his composure to power an effort past the host's keeper.

After the break, Ransford Kwakye registered his fourth goal of the season with a clinical effort from inside of the box to seal the win.

The draw for round of 16 is expected to be held next week.
