King Faisal edged Heart of Lions 3-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium to move further away from relegation in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Youngster Yashir Abdullai scored in the 9th and 41st minutes to put Faisal in front but Edem Kodjo halved the deficit for the Giant Killers.

But two minutes after Edem's consolation, Sulley Mohammed wrapped victory for Faisal.

With Liberty winning at Medeama, Lions' relegation concerns are now real as they have slipped to 13th place.

Faisal have moved to ninth place.
