Kingsley Braye – We lost but we’ll continue pushing forward

Published on: 06 December 2020

Kingsley Braye faced the media after our 1-0 defeat at the hands of King Faisal at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman on Friday afternoon.

Question: Are you disappointed?

Braye: I’m not disappointed. I think they started very well. We were great in the first half but they showed maturity in the second half.

They scored a goal but I got a chance where I could have scored but I didn’t get the control well so I lost the ball and that does not mean I am not a good player.

Anything can happen in football and we lost but we can go and win on any away ground.

Question: So do accept the defeat in good faith?

Braye: They were lucky they got a goal but for me, we could have won this game too because we also had chances.

QUESTION: Would you say you played better than your opponents?

Braye: I would not say we played better than them. They were great. Playing against a good team like this you need to fight.

We struggled a lot. We fought but we could not win.
