The case between Asante Kotoko and former coach Kjetil Zachariassen has been adjourned to February, according to the Norwegian tactician's legal council, Prosper Ntow.

Zachariassen was shown the exit in November 2019, four months after being recruited from AshantiGold SC.

The former AshantiGold trainer was tasked to reach the Group stage of the CAF Champions League, but he could not and when the team dropped into the Confederation Cup they got eliminated by Ivorian side San Pedro.

However, Zachariassen is seeking compensation for his unfair dismissal by dragging the Porcupine Warriors to the Ghana FA Statues Committee.

In the wake of the first hearing of the case, legal counsel for Zachariassen, Prosper Ntow disclosed that the case has been adjourned after the Kumasi-based outfit pleaded to the Committee for more days to file for their process.

"Today we went to the Player Status Committee and the case (Zachariassen vs Asante Kotoko SC over alleged unfair dismissal) has been adjourned to 13th February, 2020 when there will be a full hearing. The Player Status officials were present but Kotoko officials asked for time to file for some processes, so the Committee gave them that chance to file for their processes," Lawyer Ntow revealed on FOX FM.

"I went along with Charles Kouadio, agent of Zachariassen and Kotoko were represented by Nana Kwame Dankwah and two lawyers."
