Serbian Kosta Papic has departed for his native country after resigning as Hearts of Oak head coach on Monday.

It is reported that Papic’s flight left Ghana on Thursday morning, three days after his resignation letter was accepted by the board.

Papic accused the club’s leadership of interfering with his work, hence the decision to quit, just 78 days into his tenure.

His claims have been vehemently denied by board members Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe and Vincent Sowah Odotei.

Papic guided the Rainbow club in 10 matches in the Ghanaian premiership where he won four, drew three and lost three.

He is set to take up a new role at South African club in the coming days according to reports.

The first-team is currently training under the supervision of U-15 coach Samuel Nii Noi.
