Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are calling for improved security in the Ghana Premier League following the tragic death of a Kotoko supporter, Francis Frimpong, also known as Nana Pooley.
The two clubs will submit a joint position paper to the Ghana Football Association (GFA), urging stricter security measures at match venues.
This follows the violence at the Nana Koromansah II Stadium during Kotoko’s match against Nsoatreman, which resulted in multiple arrests.
