Kotoko appoint ex-captain Adu Poku as welfare manager

Asante Kotoko have appointed former captain Prince Adu Poku as welfare manager for the junior teams. 

He will work with Reserve team coach Henry Wellington, Ernest Appau of Tutu and Kofi Abbrey, coach of Anokye Stars.

Adu Poku's new post increases the number of the club's former stars who are serving in management and technical positions.

He joined Kotoko from BA United in the 1993/1994 season and played for seven seasons.

Adu Poku, nicknamed Prince of Goals, hang up his boots in 2003.
