Asante Kotoko chairman Dr. K.K Sarpong says he is not interested in becoming the next Ghana FA boss, not even in the foreseeable future.

Dr. Sarpong was reacting to suggestions made by King Faisal Chief Executive Vincent Sowah-Odotei of he (Sarpong) contesting the Ghana FA’s Presidency at the end of the current administration’s tenure in 2015.

But the business mogul who heads the Sponsorship and Marketing Committee of the GFA says the idea has least crossed his mind since the Kotoko job is superior.

“I enjoy Kotoko. The Kotoko job is far bigger than the FA,” he told Kumasi-based Angel FM.

“Everyone likes to come and greet the Kotoko chairman even Chiefs come upon hearing the Kotoko chairman is at a social gathering like funerals.

“Let me see what I can do here, club management is different ball game all together and I like it here.

“I want to thank Vincent (Sowah-Odotei) but I am not interested. It (Ghana FA Presidency) has not even crossed my mind.”

Odotei-Sowah was disqualified in his quest to upstage Kwesi Nyantakyi as GFA boss in the last elections but he is widely believed to give it another shot at the next elections in 2015.
