Asante Kotoko chief George Amoako has hits back at Kim Grant's criticism of the club's transfer policy, labeling his claims as 'reckless'.

Grant, who is the coach of rival club Hearts of Oak,  took a stinging potshot at the club, claiming their signings were not strategic.

The criticism has not gone down well with the Kotoko's top brass, who have hit back in equal measure.

And the club's chief executive George Amoako has rubbished the claims.

"Lets forget about those reckless comment. He (Grant) is not privy to what we are doing doing," he fumed on Asempa FM

"He doesn't know what he is talking about. Does he know what we're doing as a club.

"Please forget some of these ignoramus and let's move on."

The Porcupine Warriors announced deals with nine new players for their Caf Confederation Cup campaign including Maxwell Baakoh, Kwame Conte, Muntari Tagoe, Abdul Safiu, and Daniel Nii Adjei amongst others.
