Kotoko head coach Prosper Ogum has assured fans of an impressive season, urging them to expect great performances from the team.

The Porcupine Warriors, who ended last season in a disappointing sixth place, are eager for a resurgence in the ongoing campaign.

Kotoko kicked off the season on a strong note, securing an important victory against Karela United at the Naa Sheriga Complex.

Now, as they gear up for their next match against Young Apostles, Ogum emphasizes the team's commitment to pushing beyond their limits to achieve success.

"We should expect this team to do very well by the end of the season, to play well, and win more games," Ogum stated. "Kotoko is known for winning games. If you coach or play for Kotoko, it's a task you need to accomplish. You must play well and win games."

Despite the optimistic outlook, Ogum maintains a grounded approach, highlighting the importance of hard work and focus.

"We shouldn’t boast; instead, we need to work harder, stay determined, stay focused, and get the job done," he added.

Asante Kotoko will face Young Apostles in their third league match of the season on Sunday in Obuasi, with high hopes of building on their solid start.
