Kotoko coach reveals problems ahead of Liberty clash

Asante Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani says he had problems going into the weekend’s game against Liberty Professionals.

The champions needed an injury time penalty to scoop a point in a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

Kotoko wasted several chances especially in the first half to put themselves on the pedestal of a famous defeat until the late equalizer by Kwaben Edusei from a spot kick.

The home draw, to most of the fans felt like a defeat – prolonging the side’s draw spell in the Ghanaian top flight.

But coach Dramani in his defence, says there were problems before the game but failed to give details.

“It was a difficult game and prior to this game we had some issues that you might not know,” he said.

“So we had to patch things up to play this game.”

Dramani’s subtle revelation leaves a lot of questions to be answered – questions which will certainly lead to further probe by the media in the coming days.

The Porcupine Warriors need to get their acts together for their CAF Champions League second leg encounter against Equatorial Guinea champions Sony Nguema.
