Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani has condemned AshantiGold for not turning up for the MTN FA quarter-final match on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors were given three points and three goals without kicking a ball following AshGold's failure to turn up at Accra Sports Stadium.

The Obuasi-based side claimed they were not prepared to travel to the capital to face the defending league champions after the match was moved from Kumasi due to a Baba Yara Stadium ban.

“ I least expected them to do such a thing. I think it’s very bad for our football,” Dramani spoke to Fox FM.

“Such boycotting used to happen in 80's not at this modern age.

“The fans were disappointed. The weather was good for football even the pitch. But its unfortunate that a club like AshantiGold refused to turn up.”
